I really enjoyed my stay here. I think I got lucky to get a room on the top floor, looking east over the low-rise office complex/car park next door. It meant I had a very nice view over the skyline of this part of Ghent and had direct sun coming in each morning to warm things up during the cold weekend I was there. It is a huge room, including the bathroom. It had an old-world charm with the wooden-framed ceilings. It was nice to have a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The breakfast room was very 'gezellig' and the staff were friendly. There is a supermarket literally across the road which was convenient. It is only 5mins walk to the city centre.

~ Good location. Easy access to the most prosperous area of the city; ~ Room is comfy & looks good; ~ The morning staff is very nice & helpful. My waist got injured but needed to do laundry. Although it’s weekend & hotel laundry service is not available, she asked the house keeping if they could help. Then I decided to bring the clothes to the self-laundry. She lent me an IKEA cart. She even proposed to give me some ice for pain relieve.

The location was terrific, right in the historic centre & the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a seating area and large separate bathroom. The room was in the loft so had great views across the city centre on three sides from the Velux windows. Breakfast was well presented with coffee machine available throughout the day. There were several reasonably priced restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.

The hotel was very centrally located and it was very easy to walk to all the main tourist areas of Ghent. The rate was very favourable compared to other similar hotels in Ghent. The breakfast was very good - lots of choice - continental plus bacon and eggs - and excellent bread and pastries. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious with an excellent shower.

Location was fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the historic centre. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was very good quality. The fruit salad was fresh, as were the cheeses, , lovely warm pastries. Leaf tea and teapots, great coffee. The staff at breakfast were subtlety attentive. A really good choice for singles, couples, groups.
